The view was decent from our room, and the window had a little perch to sit on that could even fit someone 6’2”. The area was right off of the highway so it wasn’t the cleanest outside of the hotel when you leave the parking lot, but the hotel itself was very clean. It was a short 10 minute walk to empire live and a lot of good restaurants and other cool spots. The bed was very nice as well as the bathroom. Only weird thing were some ants the came out of the cracks of the shower, but it wasn’t an obscene amount. 5 at most at a time. (I think ants are cool anyway, others might not I suppose) I would definitely come back, great price great stay. Also free parking here!
We just came back from a softball tournament and stayed at this hotel. We were a large group and we had a hard time finding a spot for all of us to get together. We started outside in the courtyard, which was really nice, but it was hot and humid outside. Sheila, the GM, was so accommodating and personable with us. She honestly made our stay more enjoyable. Her personality and the way she goes above and beyond to make her guests feel comfortable did not go unnoticed or unappreciated by our entire group.
Always a lovely experience at this hotel. The staff keep this place clean. We got a oversized room. The first room thermostat didn't work. Bed was good and there is a microwave and refrigerator and coffee/tea maker in room. Robyn made us a great breakfast.
The desk staff that checked me out, I believe it was Abdul, went above and beyond, and was great. The bed was very comfortable, and the room seem clean. The cons, my room wasn’t ready when I went to check in. I asked the desk clerk if I can print something and he said the printer wasn’t working, because of the chlorine in the pool which made no sense. The towels in the bathroom seemed of cheap quality and it would’ve been nice to have hard-boiled eggs as an option at breakfast. Because of Abdul, and the comfort of the bed, I probably would stay here again.
Amazing quality and upkeep. Travel with a medical alert dog and the woman who checked us in was extremely respectful to the laws and offered to show us around. Hallways, common areas and bathrooms were impressively clean. Fitness area quiet and up to date. Will absolutely be coming back. Such great quality for the area.
Stayed here last night with my boyfriend while we were in town for a show and had such a great stay! Check-in was super fast and the room was super clean. The best part, though, was the continental breakfast. I expected bagels and juice, but they also had pancakes, sausage, and sausage gravy. It was amazing!
I am a IHG member and I am a fan of the Holiday Inn Express. This hotel is in a pretty good location right off the 787 and it is close to some really good restaurants and points of interest. I stayed on the second floor and my room was large, clean and very comfortable. The only issue was with the cable. You had to go to channel 1 to find out what was on as every channel you clicked on didn't have the information available. They serve a pretty standard complementary breakfast (eggs, sausage, biscuits, bagels, muffins, etc.) and they provide free parking for guest, which I greatly appreciated. I overall enjoyed my stay and will definitely book another reservation in the future.
It's a great hotel fairly near downtown. Good value with friendly and helpful staff. A reasonable range of well cooked food for breakfast.
